Product Description

Purple Lovegrass is a native warm-season grass that grows in tight tufts with long blue-green leaves that develops a bronzy-red in fall.   Rosy-purple spikelets create airy clouds above the leaves in late summer and turn light beige in fall.  Prefers full sun and dry soils.  Good drought tolerance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  No serious disease or pest issues.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Naturalized Areas, Rock Gardens, Native Gardens, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS: Liatris, Golden Rod, Prairie Dropseed
