Product Description

Wild Rose Heuchera is an evergreen herbaceous perennial with a robust low mounding habit grown for its dramatic basal foliage.  The bright rosy purple lobed foliage has deep charcoal veining.  Burgundy stems sporting large airy clusters of rosy pink bell-like flowers bloom in midsummer attracting butterflies.  Best color best in partial sun and moist well-drained soils. 

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance.  Potential issues include powdery mildew, rust, leaf spot, and frost heaving of roots if winter temperatures fluctuate widely.  Will grow slowly in heavy shade.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Rock Gardens, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS:   Lenten Rose, Hosta, Painted Fern
