Gold Cone Juniper is a compact coniferous shrub with an upright columnar form and needle-like foliage that emerges gold and holds that color through summer before fading to blue-green by winter.  Small blue berries persist in winter.  Best planted in full sun and well-drained soils.  Drought Tolerant once established.
