Product Description

Blue Ice Blue Star is known for its deep lavender-blue flowers that bloom in late spring, creating a beautiful contrast with its dark green foliage. In the fall, the leaves turn a brilliant golden yellow, adding another season of interest.

This plant prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. It’s also relatively drought-tolerant once established, making it a good choice for gardens in drier climates. One of the great things about Blue Ice Blue Star is that it’s resistant to deer and rabbits, making it a great addition to a wildlife-friendly garden.

Blue Ice Blue Star can grow up to 1-2 feet tall and wide, so it’s a good idea to plant it in the front or middle of a border where its beautiful blooms can be easily seen.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance.  Water regularly in well-drained soils.  Plants tend to flop if not cut back after flowering.
