Burgundy Blush Dianthus is a compact mat-forming evergreen perennial with grey green foliage and hairy stems. Clusters of highly fragrant double red carnation-like flowers with soft pink edging blooms first in late spring into summer, and again in fall if deadheaded. Blooms best in full sun and slightly alkaline, moist, and well-drained soil.
