Product Description

Kashmir Rose is a fast-growing deciduous shrub with upright branching and rich green foliage. The deep red buds open to heavily petaled, velvety red double flowers that bloom from late spring until the first frost.  Best grown with full sun in rich and moist well-drained, lightly acidic soils. Kashmir is disease resistant.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Medium Maintenance. Roses are susceptible to powdery mildew, black spot, rust, and rose rosette and require regular fungicide in humid areas that experience a lot of rainfall.  Pest issues include aphids, borers, scale, mites thrips, midges, and leafhoppers.
LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Naturalized Areas, Wildlife Garden, Foundation Plantings, Trellises, Walls, and Containers.
