Orchid
Orchids are an elegant and sophisticated plant you can grow in your home or office. Orchids make great houseplants that can thrive in most homes. The care is very easy. Generally, they require bright, indirect light and like to be watered once a week or so. Be careful not to overwater them, as they can rot. Keep the soil moist but not soggy. Fertilize them once a month with an orchid fertilizer and keep the pots in a humid area to keep them healthy. They make fantastic houseplants, and their blooms can last for months. Most orchids have butterfly-shaped (or moth-shaped) flowers, in a wide range of colors, from pinks and purples to apricot, orange, and salmon, to lemon yellow to pure white.
