Product Description

Everest Variegated Sedge is a compact evergreen ornamental grass with a clumping habit.  It’s tidy, slightly arching grass-like foliage has dark green centers and broad white margins.  Thrives in rich, moist well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant once established.  

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. It can be planted in near full sun if the soil is consistently moist but will have less color.  Cut foliage to the ground and remove it in late winter.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Wildlife Gardens, Naturalized Areas, Ponds and Streams, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS: Cardinal Flower, Bearded Iris, Foam Flower
